  • Byleth was raised by Rhea. Jeralt had left the monastery believing his daughter was stillborn, as the archbishop who helped birth her had stated. While Sitri was well and truly dead, Byleth lived, and Rhea raised her. Rhea was an overprotective mother, and although she was doting and sweet with her, Rhea did not allow her daughter to roam far from the monastery. Usually, Byleth was content to explore her small world, but as she grew older she wanted to explore. The Ashen Wolves are already familiar with her-- she would sometimes go down to Abyss when Rhea needed something delivered. Eventually, Rhea and Seteth decided that Byleth needed to attend the acacdemy, in order to prepare her for the outside world (as they couldn't keep her cooped up forever).

  • Though Byleth is allowed to choose her house, she ends up choosing the blue lions, the class that Seteth teaches. This account primarily follows Azure Moon.

  • Byleth is autistic, although there was no definition for this at the time period. More specifically she has Aspergers (like the mun!), and doesn’t always read social cues well 100% of the time. She's doin' her best

  • She is talented with the sword, obviously, but she also has a great passion for reason and faith magic and desires to be a gremory someday, achieving that goal post timeskip. She can also be an amazing dark flier.

  • She has some nabatean physical traits-- slightly pointy ears and little fangs. Nothing super noticeable unless you're looking for it.

  • She is close with both Seteth and Rhea, and considers them her parents-- and considers Flayn a little sister.

  • She has claustrophobia.

  • She has a lil bit of a sacreligion kink, i.e. fucking in a church, worshipping her partner/calling them a god, etc. (this kink is optional in rps of course, but you should know uwu)

  • She is a complete and utter romantic, deep down. Make her feel like a princess and she’ll make you feel like her king/queen.

  • She has a black pegasus named Sigrun and a kitten named Freyja!

  • Her favorite flowers are forget-me-nots and white roses.
